thurs went to tapas by the airport for diana's 21st bday party...all i gotta say is... i feel OLD!!!...not to mention i saw vivians friends there too...but it was still a pretty good time...AND i got one hell of a lapdance... HAHAHAHAHA..."damn...he took off his belt too!"

friday...the guys from all the regions for work flew in for meetings this weekend...so everyone went to dinner at fox sports...it was like...18 guys and 4 girls...sounds...just...like...usual...haha...

saturday...watched the game...38-0 what?!?!...=) #1 baby...stopped by the mall and returned my shoes...but bought 2 pairs of pants and a dress shirt...haha...so much for that...then watched i heart huckabees...I liked it...it reminded me of h.enlgish senior year...those existential plays that we had to write...naomi watts and jude law...how fucking gorgeous is that...

sunday...went to knowlwoods for the 2nd time in my life...i dont know...dont think ill be going there again any time soon...slept the majority of the afternoon...then went out for happy hour at bjs...

antonio aka sparky (about a year ago he was taking a bath...reached back and knocked the blowdryer into the tub...was electrocuted...died for 15 min before his mother found him and was able to bring him back (good thing shes a doctor) he lost hella weight and turned white...so now they call him sparky or pikachu)...after we finished the most delicious cevapi (interesting sausage and onion sandwich)

cannon tower...so the story goes...once the city was being attacked and the enemy was trying to depelete them of resources...they ran out of cannonballs so someone decided to put a chicken into the cannon...when the enemy saw this mistakenly thought that the city was doing so well that they could use chickens as ammunition that they left...so everyday at noon (or 1 i cant remember) they let off a fake cannon...heehee

interesting group of people we met in zagreb...extremely friendly...extremely willing to talk to us and work on their english...at school theyre required to learn either english or german, so for most communication was not a problem...for many of them viv and i were also the first asians that they had ever met/seen...many of them also watch anime! what are the chances of that? so...great start for croatia =) next time...my favorite city of the entire trip =)

interesting night last night...did some pre-partying at tommie's which totally fucked me up...that banana shit...crazy...then headed off to detroit...the place was PACKED...visionaries were performing for some one year anniversary thing...so you had your basic urban crowd...

couple of us went outsdie to smoke and just never ended up going back in...got some mexican food from a stand and watched lou get butt-raped by some gay mexican that didnt speak english... teehee...then ran through the rain and sat in lous car to eat...more walking through the rain to get to erics car...and headed to dennys...

all and all...not a bad night...saw hella accidents on the way back though...rain was terrible...and you know...southern california drivers and the rain dont mix...randomly the rain just stopped when we got back to irvine though...true "bubble" style as tommie put it...

feeling much better now...for those of you that heard...i got laid off on thursday...<grumble grumble grumble>...thanx to those who drank away the sorrow with me...haha (quick recap: barmichaels/yardhouse fri night, sc game saturday, honda ya sunday, tennis thing(benefit for AIDS...andre agassi, andy roddick and 10xs-hotter-in-person anna kournikova...)/mccormicks mon, mccormicks tues)

but yesterday! they re-hired me..."back by popular demand" as one guy put it...apparently one of the guys i worked for was getting really swamped with work and needed someone to help out...and since i had been doing pretty well at the company...he went to the president and the cfo and asked for me to come back =) yay! one of the other chicks hugged me when she found out...heehee...i like it here =)

now just this insurance business...apparently the chick that hit me 2 years ago in my car accident claimed bodily injury...ummm...<cough>...why did no one tell me this? so my insurance dropped me...HA! <headache>

train station...(my feet were so destroyed by this part of the trip that we decided to take a bus tour...hence the shifty pictures...)


bridge...a little history...budapest was originally two cities...buda (the hilly side) and pest (pronounced pesht)...and there was a third city, obuda, the cities worked so closely together through war and change of leadership that in 1867 they merged into one city...that bridge connects the two sides...

it sort of gets you right there...plus all the stories the tour guide told (one girl that was saved weighed about 25kg (55lbs) THREE months after)...its just sad...and to think that there are people claiming that the entire thing was made up...hopefully nothinig like that every happens again...theres so much more that i cant fit into one blog...but thats it for now...it was a very eyeopening experience...

had an interesting week...weekend...

my mind has been going pretty crazy lately...lack of sleep plus drama...some mornings i just cant function...gotta get things together before i get friggin fired...haha

thurs timothy came back from sf so he invited bunches of people to dnb...called up some irvine peoples and amazingly...6 of them showed...good times...chatting...drinking...oh...also went to <cough> the CA meeting at uci with frank...taha...what an experience that was...=P

friday...after failing to get to sunset room because people kept bailing...decided to venture to laguna beach since it proved to be the BEST time ever last time...original plan was to find another bar/club/lounge to chill in...but we still ended up at ocean...OMG...it was SO much fun...just dance dance dance the entire night...sb owning everyone...heehee...great moments...got some albert tacos...the crazy people drank more at kennys...then went home and crashed!

saturday...woke up hella late...went to the pool/bbq at newport hella late...ate some amazing food...thanx to frank...beef/shrimp skewers, clams, chicken, potato salad, salad...mmm...then headed over to cdm for the bonfire...fuckin wood with nails in it...haha...made smores then busted out the little smokies...moved over to the crazy tree log pit next to ours after the people left...good times...good times...back to newport to jacuzzi...then off the stephs to play majong/pictionary and watched house of 1000 flying daggers...TAKESHI...man....<drool>...where do i find one of those!!??! everyone was so exhausted by 2 we just all went home...so old...i was falling asleep on the majong table while we were playing =P

i need to go buy some shoes today...completely destroyed my last pair!
